I-Cubed for Teams is a human centered, whole-systems approach to engagement, effectiveness, and well-being. It’s about helping both individual team members and the team as a whole bring a better game to the difference they make.
The framework – part of my mission to change the world from the inside out – consists of three core interrelated components:
- Inner Game: Removing or reducing the blocks to individual team members’ innate potential and helping it flow more freely. This includes areas such as stress management, change resilience, and energy management.
- Impact: The difference team members make, both individually and collectively as a team. This includes both the specific impact and a deeper understanding of the underlying meaning and purpose.
- Interconnection: The qualities and characteristics that enable teams to organize, amplify, and energize the efforts and individual and collective impact of its team members. Areas of focus include team culture, purpose, values, norms, processes, and systems.
Each component influences and is in turn influenced by the other two. I call it I-Cubed (rather than 3-I) because of the exponential effect they have when taken together as a whole.

Applying I-Cubed for Teams
The application of the I-Cubed approach can be tailored to focus on all three core components, or zero in more specifically on any one of them (for example, a stress management workshop might focus primarily on the Inner Game, while a team-building and planning offsite might incorporate all three).
I offer customized programs based on the I-Cubed approach, focused on a wide range of topics. Those include:
- Stress management
- Change resilience
- Team culture development
- Team purpose exploration and identification
- Team-building
